I like how this came out. So far it's the best version. A bit busy with the line work around my face, but otherwise I'm fairly happy.

Not too happy with this page. The hatching in the figures at the top of the page is completely overwrought and I need to go back into them. Though I do like the simplicity of the layout, especially coming off the very complicated previous page. It suggests a new beginning, a new day. Which is what it is.

I think this may be my best page yet. It's very complex, and I'm dealing with things that are typically hard for me to draw: nature, architecture and other people. At the last minute I decided to put in the "gradient" — the hatching in the background that suggests the light of sunset. I like the metaphorical value of it, but it also serves to unify a very fragmented page and further lead the eye to the last pane. This is why I like inking; because this is where the finishing touches really make all the difference. And I love that.
